Growing up between France and Tunisia, Nawel Ben Kraiem started her music career performing in Paris. A deep voice, a mix of different influences (folk, rock, north african music) and languages (Tunisian, French and English) make this project unique and modern, inviting the listener to a poetic and profound trip into her music. She’s a kind of modern chikha of raï inspired by Chikha Rimitti. She creates a particular style with a sensitive atmosphere.Nawel is a well rounded artist; she’s a singer, a musician, an actress and a performer, but her artistic talent reaches beyond music. In 2021, she published her first book of poems, "J'abrite un secret", published by Bruno Doucey, which her last album of songs echoes, influenced by Patti Smith, Rachid Taha or Kae Tempest style. She was on tour with her music and poetry in several countries (Turkey, Tunisia, France, Algeria..)
