Nayanika is an Indonesian indie pop band, formed in the city of Padang back in 2015. The band consists of college friends Bayu Gemilang (lead vocal, acoustic guitar), Ebill Fuji Edison (saxophone, keyboard, glockenspiel), and Semilir (drums, back vocals). After several band members left, including the lead female vocal, they finally settled on Gilang Sampurna as one of lead vocals who also plays electric guitar and Hiddali Kaisar Karnain on bass.
Nayanika is a deep-fried, pop-folk-battered slice of life, Nayanika is the melody of everyday society. The band presents the very first EP Sulung in the edge of 2017, which is focused on the reality that happened to some kids nowadays.
