Ne Jah, civil name Nélson Monteiro, is already one of the young certainties of Portuguese hip-hop, having started playing with words and rhymes over beats at a young age. Coming from the Rio Judeu neighborhood, in Fogueteiro, he has always demonstrated an aptitude for sung poetry, with lyrics about the raw reality of the neighborhood and stories of his experience.
The single "Sem Mimos" took the rapper out of anonymity, reaching more than 5 million streams.
We also highlight themes such as: "Descanso Eterno", "Ghetto", "Muedaz", his collaboration with the artist Loreta on the theme "Inda Ka Kaba", with Vado Más Ki Ás on the theme "Ilhas Maravilha", and with the well-known rapper NGA, on the song "ViNGAnça", among many others, with stints on numerous national and international stages.
His first objective as an artist is expression through music, which occurs through interpretation, improvisation and communication.
