NEALA, an Indonesian-Filipino triple threat artist based in Jakarta, has dived into the dance & art community since her childhood and made it to one of the best arts schools in Asia, SOTA (School of The Arts) Singapore. She is now a professional multi-styled dancer, however she also has been passionate with singing and songwriting which made her pursue music production in 2017.
NEALA’s debut single “Free From Me”, tells the story of getting over a very toxic and abusive relationship. Having experienced this herself, NEALA spills her heart and mind into this song, sharing the facts of being and overcoming a toxic boyfriend through the lyrics. She expresses how it has made her the strong person she is today, and strives for this song to be the anthem for all toxic relationship survivors. She hopes to not only expand her audiences from the dance industry, but also inspire everyone else from various communities / industries and share her relatable stories through all her songs.
