NealSpring, One of the few Norwegian band that has it's roots based in the pop-punk genre, best explained as such: "a radio friendly sheen to their music, but still maintaining much of the speed and attitude of classic punk rock". Before NealSpring, two of the bandmembers were already traveling around Europe, England, Scandinavia and Iceland in the hardcore/punk-scene delivering hundreds of concerts, almost died as their car exploded, had their lyrics spraypainted in the cities of Czech Republic and became famous for their explosive live-acts. As they grew more and more tired of the labeled hardcorescene and all it's untrue and shallow bullshit, NealSpring was formed - and it was an idea that was long due. The band is now a dream come true for the members, as it has been in the making since they were fourteen years old. After locating the band to Oslo, and a lot of live shows - the band decided to hit the studio, and recorded their first album: TALE OF THE TAPE which was produced by the great Christer Andre Cederberg. The birth of the album was succesful, and it was a healthy baby bastard containing seven songs of true pop-punk. The album is yet to be released, and the band is currently looking for the right label to sign. From January 2011, the band will mainly focus on playing live and releasing a single before the album is released. Already, NealSpring has a bunch of new songs for a future recording.
