A composer, guitarist, rapper, bilingual translator/interpreter, and an avid music fan, NECKY has lived around the world, and collaborated internationally as well.
He has performed at the 2013 AX Dance with Nana Hatori of <a href="spotify:artist:7GvmxSfmArmvrK4GyXfObk" data-name="SLEEPLESS SLEEP">SLEEPLESS SLEEP</a>, produced music on SoundCloud, worked with Carlos K on the track “Promise” by <a href="spotify:artist:29PeG6G6C986jnRPBECm4D" data-name="Mihimaru GT">Mihimaru GT</a> and on Summer Time!!! for R&B singer, <a href="spotify:artist:5cfwQHc25w8JNzcXfxLNy5" data-name="AZU">AZU</a> as well as <a href="spotify:artist:3lw7JEQ6u4wdgKpoQSTkDo" data-name="Serena">Serena</a>’s track “Anata Ga Ireba OK!”, which was the ending theme for the anime Space Brothers.
NECKY has worked as a lyricist on Sonic Forces.
In 2018, he and another artist named <a href="spotify:artist:07RbdB6l0NDNR8XKyTnbn6" data-name="MITSUGI">MITSUGI</a> formed the production unit nMy, which featured a new collaborator on each song.
With OrelusOne, a French composer, they produced a track for in-game music in Ubisoft’s upcoming title, Beyond Good and Evil 2. Their finished product, eclectic, multicultural songs made using four different languages, attracted a lot of attention in the HitRecord community as well as the BGE2 production team, and a small clip of a song was used for Ubisoft x HitRecord cross promotion. The song, “Hybrid for Life”, is scheduled to be included in the game.
In early 2020, NECKY met <a href="spotify:artist:4hgt99SPkxLoBYMVHs88uz" data-name="Seann Bowe">Seann Bowe</a> a producer from the US who was visiting Tokyo at the time. They decided to do a collaboration together, and the track “Heavenly” was born.
At the moment, NECKY is using his downtime to create and to meet other inspiring people.
