NEW WAVEシンセポップデュオ「NECO ASOBI」。
2018年2月に宇都宮にて活動を開始。2018年9月にはネットレーベルLocal Visionsより1st Single「君と月とサイダー」をネットリリース。配信先のBandCampではPOPチャートで1位を獲得した。また同年10月には同楽曲のカセットテープでのフィジカルリリースを行い、販売開始数秒で限定40本を完売した。2019年3月には同じくLocalVisionsよりネットリリースのコンピレーションアルバム「Oneironaut」に「片想い・SEASON・少女」が収録される。2020年4月には初の全国流通盤1st mini album「PSR B1919+21(パルサー)」をリリース。2023年春、ボーカル高野ユニコ脱退とともに活動休止していたが、トラックメイカーTAOISM改めu.u(ユユ)が新ボーカルsinoと2024年春より再始動！

NECO ASOBI is a NEW WAVE synth-pop duo that began their activities in Utsunomiya in February 2018. In September of the same year, they released their first single “Kimi to Tsuki to Cider” online through the netlabel Local Visions. The single reached No.1 on the POP charts on BandCamp. In October, the same song was released physically on cassette tape, with a limited run of 40 copies selling out within seconds of release. In March 2019, their songs “Kataomoi,” “SEASON,” and “Shoujo” were featured on the net-released compilation album Oneironaut, also from Local Visions. In April 2020, they released their first nationally distributed mini-album “PSR B1919+21 (Pulsar)”. After vocalist Unico Takano left the group in spring 2023, the band went on hiatus. However, in spring 2024, the group resumed activities as trackmaker u.u (formerly TAOISM) teamed up with new vocalist sino.
