Born from a fascination with the "Atomic Age" sci-fi of Stanisław Lem’s The Invincible and its retrofuturist aesthetic, NecroEvolution is a deliberate collision of worlds: the crushing, melodic weight of Gothenburg-style Death Metal meets the neon, analog warmth of Synthwave. It is a cinematic landscape where distorted riffs and guttural vocals narrate the plight of the "Deathwave"—working-class augmented humans betrayed by the elite, reborn as posthuman cyborg-zombies on a quest for cosmic revenge.

The project is a love letter to 80s cult classics like Alien and Jurassic Park as well as to modern day 80s-inspired franchises such as Stranger Things. The production blends synth soundscapes inspired by artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:1l2oLiukA9i5jEtIyNWIEP" data-name="Carpenter Brut">Carpenter Brut</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:244uLu9lkdw39BJwlul3k8" data-name="Perturbator">Perturbator</a> with heavy distortion guitars heard on early 2000s Death Metal, with inspiration drawn in particular from <a href="spotify:artist:7eYmDBinb760MUIfoRdlGQ" data-name="Bloodbath">Bloodbath</a>&#39;s <a href="spotify:album:4FxwiAMgbsWgDXkrkxonQO" data-name="Resurrection Through Carnage">Resurrection Through Carnage</a> album.
