Nefeli Walking Undercover is the songwriting project of Greek composer and violonist Nefeli Liouta. In a broader, experimental sense of chamber pop folk music, Nefeli redefines the heartwarming sound of classical instruments within a blend of hypnotic rhythmic patterns, grainy guitars, dreamy vocals and timeless soundscapes of analogue keyboards and refreshing ambiences. Her stories are inspired by the open fields and the melancholic cities, the warmth of people and their solitude, the lighten windows of friendly buildings on silent blue evenings. Nefeli has released four and a half music albums plus one soundtrack and collaborates with multiple venues, projects and partners through the years. Her new album is set to be released in the spring of 2025, produced by Stavros Georgiopoulos and Sergios Voudris, featuring a versatile team of acclaimed fellow musicians.
