Nelly Petkova

Nelly Petkova was born in Karlovo, Bulgaria. Her passion for Folk singing has led her to incorporate her unique vocal style into her pop songs.
She made her debut on Bulgarian National Radio where, with the radio folk orchestra, she recorded four songs.
Nelly Petkova won the competition to become the lead vocalist for the number one rated show in Bulgaria, Slavi’s Show and Ku Ku Band. There followed a number of appearances, including over 1300 live shows on national television (bTV), more than 100 concerts in Bulgaria and abroad, 3 national stadium tours. With Ku Ku Band she recorded 3 studio albums.
At the end of July 2011, Nelly Petkova announced she is embarking on a solo career. Since then she has released multiple singles in English and Bulgarian.
Nelly Petkova is putting the finishing touches on her English-language album that will be released in 2022. She is working with Grammy Award winning songwriter/producer David “Swagg R’Celious” Harris and the two have produced three singles: “Body”, “Sober” and “Broken”. Nelly's upcoming single "Ain't Thinking 'Bout You" is set to be released on Feb 25th 2022.
