Nemesy

Marco Carluccio (vocals, keyboards, composer) and Johnny Pizzuto (keyboards, composer) are Nemesy. Discovered in Athens in 1980 by Vangelis Papathanassiou (Aphrodite’s Child), they soon gained recognition in Italy, signing with Bootlegs, CGD, and EMI. Their sound was refined with engineer Paolo Bocchi, who worked with Vasco Rossi, Mina, and Celentano. They also appeared on the “Masterone” compilation.

Their 1985 album defied Italo Disco conventions with a unique sound, earning praise abroad, especially among audiophiles, for its innovative production.

Marco Carluccio (voce, tastiere, compositore) e Johnny Pizzuto (tastiere, compositore) sono i Nemesy. Scoperti ad Atene nel 1980 da Vangelis Papathanassiou (Aphrodite’s Child), ottennero presto riconoscimento in Italia, firmando con Bootlegs, CGD ed EMI. Il loro suono si affinò con Paolo Bocchi, tecnico del suono di Vasco Rossi, Mina e Celentano. Parteciparono anche alla compilation “Masterone”.

Il loro album del 1985 sfidò le convenzioni dell’Italo Disco con un sound unico, apprezzato all’estero per la sua produzione innovativa.
