Fascinated by the turntable instrument for many years, it is only recently that Nemoz emerges from the shadows, the fascination becoming a vocation, and the turntable an extension of himself. Originally from the French Alps, growing up in a multicultural and fertile for experiments Grenoble city, he quickly became enthusiastic about the vast universe of music and the possibilities for hybridization offered by its different galaxies, building bridges between the planets of genres. Today a caring and passionate sentinel serving DJ cultures, it is through his DJsets in France and more recently behind the decks of Rinse France radio that he pleads for a more open, adventurous and liberated DJing. Campaigning for the recognition of DJing as a full-fledged art of musical production, he nevertheless surrounds himself with his edits, ideal handiwork projects for his aspirations of mixing genres. Because yes, according to Nemoz, mixing genres means mixing people, which, always and forever, we deeply need.
