The duo strives to reach new areas in Albanian underground music previously untouched, like the synthwave scene.
The name Nena Parti itself means “Mother Party”, which is what the people used to call the party in power during the communist regime. Of course that the imagery used, along with the name and concept is sarcastic and critiques the period, strives to create a healthy conversation about the country’s past and how we should come to terms with it, be it good or bad.
