Neon Crush - Cologne/(GER) based synthpop trio
Influenced by groups like Chvrches, La Roux, Ms & Mr and Robyn, the band creates a fresh elaborated sound aesthetic by combining analogue instruments with retro synthsounds and catchy hooklines. In 2019 producer and guitarist Christian Taubert and vocalist Alex Funken started to write and record their band material in Chris's homestudio. They found the best rhythmic support in drummer Mathias Oymanns, who completes the band with his haunting drums. Those drums combined with clever, interwoven backing vocals and Chris's creative conception of retro synth sounds are the band’s main recognition values which create their unique synth pop athmosphere.
