Nettie Ramirez is an independent Christian artist with two specific goals—1. to inspire others to deepen their connection with God through music, and 2. to infuse innovative sounds into the Christian music landscape, drawing inspiration from the diverse influences of Latin, Gospel, and Classical music that have shaped her journey. Nettie has had a deep-seated passion for music from a young age. Born in New York City to Dominican and Guatemalan parents and raised in New Jersey, Nettie's early years were significantly influenced by the Latin Gospel music in her community. Her musical journey began at the age of ten, rooted in her church upbringing, where she first sang publicly during a children's service. At that moment, Nettie knew that to sing for the Lord is what she wants to do for the rest of her life. Driven by her love for the arts, Nettie pursued a professional career in music. In her early 20s, Nettie earned a dual degree in Music and Global Business from Kean University, where she enhanced her musical abilities. Notably, she participated in choral concerts as a member of the Kean University Choir, exploring the intricacies of classical music. Today, her goals stay the same, bringing others closer to God through music and exploring what it can do while making music that connects scripture to modern day situations.
