The name “Never The Cool Kids” is derived from the acronyms of Red, Ruth Lee and Bro Justin’s hometowns namely, Nueva Viscaya, Tuguegarao Cagayan, and Kidapawan, respectively.
If the first letters of their hometowns are what’s left, it becomes NTCK. Thus, Never The Cool Kids. But why aren’t this group never cool? Because what they all have in common is they were all never too cool for school, & they like to keep it that way.
They want to represent those who are bullied and not given much attention, & show the world that the people they often underestimate are forces not to mess with.
