Formed 10 years ago, inspired by an unforgettable trip to Glastonbury, Never2Late have gigged and recorded around North/West Yorkshire with occasional forays further afield, playing at the Solstice festival at Stonehenge.
Personnel have come and gone (almost always on good terms), just one of those things that happens as you become more “mature”. The spine of SteveE and SteveB has however remained a constant feature.
Starting out as a covers band we discovered a love of writing our own material and now have a significant catalogue on Spotify.
How to describe our music? …. “Eclectic” would probably be the most appropriate word, with everything from high tempo rock (“Tempted”) to slow ballads (“Everything To Me”) and everything in between. We do like our songs to say something of value, drawing inspiration from sources as diverse as Jean Paul Sartre, Bertrand Russell, Dickens and Phillip Larkin.
Mostly we just love the creative process and playing live!
