New Born Babies was conceived in 2014 during a show at the Hot Tub House in Olympia, WA, when Ashia Climovech (Street Plebs, Art Girl) approached <a href="spotify:artist:70gGIntq2og2FAsK4Thpa6" data-name="Pual Parker Krogh">Pual Parker Krogh</a> (<a href="spotify:artist:6YFXb26dzleqjKvJSAbcJB" data-name="Sky Painter">Sky Painter</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:75FcTb5LwyfZ4d5lC3cQBO" data-name="Oh Blue Minium">Oh Blue Minium</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:4IrpAKfu32X9x4X823khdD" data-name="HomeThrone Studio">HomeThrone Studio</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6kFuI2VcpnBOYaQrrlwjdY" data-name="The Pubic Sound">The Pubic Sound</a>) and said, “Hey, lets start a band and call it New Born Babies!” The duo archived every practice and live performance over the next 2 years, and created 3 albums out of this material; <a href="spotify:album:0bt61r3NceTH4jXOhsZfmG" data-name="Hitting the Pool">Hitting the Pool</a> being the standout release for this lineup. Shortly after the release of <a href="spotify:album:0bt61r3NceTH4jXOhsZfmG" data-name="Hitting the Pool">Hitting the Pool</a> Ashia moved on to other towns and adventures and Pual began to perform solo. With the arrival of Pual’s brother, Aaron “pNUT” Krogh (Mickey Mouth), NBB evolved back into a duo. The brothers recorded and performed like this for a while until being joined by JoeBob Martino (<a href="spotify:artist:13hR6Gj1LYuNH0t6tKY8xi" data-name="Bonney Lake">Bonney Lake</a>) on the drums. As a three piece, NBB released <a href="spotify:album:4mYVqA8GfXRTk8fLot7X0N" data-name="Nbbcbchb">Nbbcbchb</a> in 2017 with a new and refined sound. After the release of <a href="spotify:album:4mYVqA8GfXRTk8fLot7X0N" data-name="Nbbcbchb">Nbbcbchb</a> and the move of pNUT, NBB has grown to consist of a revolving cast who come and go as they please, providing for a fluid and fresh performance every time.
