New Credo, born in 1986, through many musical experiences developed in the first years of their life, defined their own musical style in 1989, maturing themselves into an experimental progressive rock, between the most simphonic and pompous one and the new-prog of Nineties.
Armonies, that differ from the traditional ones, and rhythms, often irregular and changing within the same song, the proposal of concepts and suites, the innovative creation always present even in the least experimental songs, sampled sounds mixed with analogic ones, as many other factors, confirm New Credo as a strongly eclectic group, with a good basical technique who had many positive results during the most important competitions in the ‘90s.
New Credo recorded a 45rpm ('Somebody loves', Arexong records), made an apparition in a compilation with the song 'Vetri di un sogno' as Franco Barbuto's band in1991 and in the prog-promo compilation cd FAFNIR with the song 'Prologo' (Kaliphonia Record, 1993) Often abroad, especially in Poland with the DZEM Agency for the promotion on radios and tvs, till late 2000. (Appeared in the compilation “Polish Art Rock Vol. 3” with the song “Wstęp” in 2003)
On summer '96 they partecipate in CAMEL Tribute, produced by Mellow Records (more than 2,000 copies sold in the States).
In the official discography two releases: Floriańska (1995) and The Colonist (2003)
The band finished his artistic activity in 2005
