New Horizons

We are New Horizons, an Italian progressive metal band from Pisa, founded in 2015 by guitarists Giacomo Froli and Nicola Giannini, along with keyboardist Luca Guidi. Inspired by bands like Dream Theater, HAKEN, Symphony X, and Circus Maximus, we began on a dream to create our original music, with the hope of one day gracing grand stages, captivating numerous fans who sing along to our songs, and opening for our favorite musicians. With the addition of drummer Federico Viviani, bassist Claudio Froli, and singer Oscar Nini, we initially released the demo &#34;The Trail of Shadows,&#34; and in March 2017 we started on recording our debut album. We debuted in the world of progressive metal by releasing &#34;Inner Dislocation&#34; on 23rd February 2018, under the &#34;Revalve Records&#34; label. The album received widespread praise from both critics and our audience. We began to see some of our dreams come to reality, including the opportunity to open for prominent artists such as &#64;<a href="spotify:artist:2SRIVGDkdqQnrQdaXxDkJt" data-name="Haken">Haken</a>, Steve Vai, DGM, Mayan, Sirenia, and many others. We are currently completing the writing of the lyrics for the second album which will be released in 2024.
