New Light

New Light is a songwriting duo originating from Sweden, consisting of Tobias Hall Östergren and Daniel Gustafsson.They began their journey of writing songs together in 2018, but kicked it up a notch in early 2019 when the songs were starting to get their own identity and original sound. 'It was like a switch flipped in our collective minds, we felt that this really needs to get released' said co-writer Daniel Gustafsson in an interview anticipating their debut release. The songs have been described as a joyous mix of modern pop flairs and old school elements, such as a real-life brass section and soaring electric guitar solos. New Light EP is the duo's first collective release, and they don't seem to have any intention of stopping any time soon.
