Newland Park Drive

Newland Park Drive is an Alternative Rock/Indie band based in Cambridgeshire and North London. The band is currently made up by 3 members; Thomas Giles (Lead Singer/Guitarist), Will Powell (Guitarist/Bassist), and Max Norman (Drummer).

Will Powell and Thomas Giles, the two song writers of the band, create a unique sound driven by their somewhat opposing inspirations. Will has been inspired by the likes of Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and the Beatles which gives their songs that dark and dreamy feeling, leaving you on the edge of your seat. He also takes great pride in his lyrics which often have deeper levels of meaning, treading the line between literal and thought provoking.

Tom, on the other hand, is inspired by the likes of 1975, Oasis, and The Stone Roses. A fan of a catchy hook, harmonies, and huge instrumental build ups, Toms songwriting abilities complement Wills' superbly, leading to the unique sound of 'Newland Park Drive'.

Max has been playing drums since before he can remember and is an incredibly talented musician. Any type of song that Will and Tom approach him with, he instantly creates catchy grooves and awesome fills that complement the sound of the track.
