Newlands Worship is the organic worship culture of Newlands Church in Houston, TX. Although Newlands Worship is a growing worship family with many members it is primarily pastored and led by Leeland Mooring of the band Leeland, Freddie Wessels of Johannesburg, South Africa, Morgan Campos, Kristen Pierce & Ale Coyoy
“We are a worship community that is very young but have been through a lot together. From our first service as a church on January 26th of 2020 to worshipping through a pandemic and seeing God bring us to the other side. Our heart is to write songs for our church family to sing in every memorial moment of life. We’re a culture that gathers in expectation, fixing our eyes on the light of the world Jesus. With songs, hymns and spiritual songs we want to encourage one another into the upward call of God in Christ, and we believe as we sing, we become a holy habitation and a gateway to heaven.” - Leeland Mooring
