NexKin

NexKin adopted music as an outlet from an early age and his first organized musical project, Illfuzionz, took shape in his late teens. Formed along with lifelong friends, the Denver-based, 4 piece Hip-Hop collaborative grew to neighborhood stardom through appearing at house parties, local events and basement cyphers. Nex emerged as the group’s premier songwriter and freestyle MC and became well known for his quick-witted lyrics, catchy concepts and fierce performances.

Over time, the local crew morphed into their very own independent conglomerate known as 8th ElemEnt. Entertainment. Nex was integral in much of label’s early success & development. His debut album was featured on Billboard.com’s “Regional Heat Seekers” for release date sales and was a turning point for what would become one of the area’s most successful indie labels.

Nex has performed across Colorado, toured nationally, released a host of videos and music and has also dabbled in songwriting for other artists. He has become a driving force behind Denver’s strongest musical movement and shows no signs of slowing down. Now in the second leg of showcasing his extensive range, Nex has switched it up from the gritty, underground feel that comprised his initial run to flexing his creative muscle through more conceptual and artistic material.
