NEXORA is the new dark-wave project of London-born singer Adrian Vale, an artist whose haunting voice and lyrical candor bridge the shadows of post-punk nostalgia with the pulse of modern electronic soundscapes.
Born in the mid-1980s into a family of academics, Adrian grew up surrounded by books, silence, and an unshakable sense of distance from the world around him. Music became his escape: at 14, he was already performing Joy Division covers in dingy East End clubs, and by his twenties he had drifted through Berlin’s underground scene, soaking up the atmospheres of late-night basements, flickering strobes, and half-remembered conversations.
After years of collaborations and ghostwriting for others, Adrian formed NEXORA in 2023 as a vessel for his own uncompromising vision: minimalist beats, glacial synths, and lyrics that explore alienation, obsession, and fragile beauty in a fractured world. His baritone delivery—detached yet intimate—sits at the heart of NEXORA’s sound, echoing both the cold detachment of the city and the quiet warmth of human vulnerability.
NEXORA’s debut EP, Echoes of the Void, is a cinematic dive into twilight moods, weaving themes of love lost, societal disillusion, and transcendence on the dancefloor. With its stark aesthetics, the project has quickly gained attention among European dark-wave and electronic circles, being described as “the missing link between Depeche Mode’s despair and the digital dystopia of today.”
