Born Nate Feuerstein, NF grew up in Gladwin, MI, using rap as both escape and expression. After building independent heat, he signed with Capitol Records in 2015, beginning his climb to dominance with Mansion, a debut LP that sought to map his psyche room by room. He’s since demonstrated the power of vulnerability on hits like 2017’s 8x Platinum “Let You Down,” 2019’s 2x Platinum “The Search,” and 2023’s fan-favorite “HAPPY.” Building from Mansion, his album titles and themes continue to speak to a drive to push past darkness and toward light: from 2016’s Platinum Therapy Session, to back-to-back Billboard 200 chart-toppers Perception (2017, 2x Platinum) and The Search (2019, Platinum), on through 2023’s HOPE (No. 2).

On his latest EP, FEAR, NF explores that titular subject with radical honesty — and key assists from special guests mgk and James Arthur — making it clear that his story is still being written.
