From the margins of the rural world emerges a new project of political-sonic resistance: NFUE.
With their new self-produced EP Rural Skins Oi, they aim to highlight individualism, the depoliticization of leisure, class struggle, the supremacy of urban culture over rural life, and the systematic invisibilization of peripheral territories.
This EP combines guitar, bass, drums, and three voices in three languages to express—from the periphery—that music and bodies are not neutral, but active agents in society.
Because we were never slaves: colonialism, capitalism, imperialism, neoliberalism, and technocracy made us one of them.
Tracks recorded by NFUE and Chicken Attack Records.
Mixed by Mpacto Sónico (Möno Disnoize).
Mastered by Chicken Attack Records.
Cover art and design: Chicken Attack Records & NFUE.
Photography: Rocío.
Edition of 50 tapes thanks to Andalucía Über Alles, Nunca Nada, and Chicken Attack Records.
