Nguyễn Thiện Thảo is a singer-songwriter who grew up in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam. Peace and optimism are the values that shape his music. He often uses stories about life, people, trips, and lands to express feelings, concerns, and even the love of young people. Thảo does not have a certain genre of music, his music is the search for the aspects of the human soul by close contact with nature and people.
The "Giấc Mơ Nhỏ" (A Little Dream) minishow held in January 2016 in Saigon marked his first step on the path of music pursuit.
"Giấc Mơ Nhỏ" (A Little Dream), the first album was released in December 2017. The album consisted of 14 songs marking the time period that had the most influence on Thảo's writing style. Released together with the photo book "Humans of Love", all profits of the whole project were donated to a charity fund for Bahnar ethnic minority children (a people living in the Central Highlands, Vietnam).
In June and July 2019, the "Kẻ Gieo Nụ Cười" (Smile Sower) project started with a fundraising minishow in Saigon. Later, Thảo and his friends traveled to many different places, singing and chatting with young students, the sick, the poor, and the children of ethnic minorities. All the money raised went to the education fund for ethnic children there.
