Starting out as a DJ in Gothenburg’s early ’90s, Nibc became well known in the Swedish rave scene for Claustrophobic Dimension, a network of underground artists and musicians working within dance culture and its aesthetics. Gravitating toward a more house-centric sound in the ‘00s, he started to gain a serious following — he shows up in music-magazine polls as a favorite across Scandinavia, and has enjoyed the success of his record label, Trunkfunk (<a href="spotify:album:0HGdJqvmbUzVpZ6F8Yi2h4" data-name="20 Years of Trunkfunk">20 Years of Trunkfunk</a>).
