Born in Jamaica, Kingston, now located in North London, Tottenham. Nic Da Kid is a RnB/Hip-Hop Artist and producer. His smooth sensual tone accompanied by his honest approach to lyrics, he expresses his perspective by story-telling his own experiences poetically.
During his earlier years his mother introduced him to artists such as Whitney Houston, Anita Baker and Bob Marley. At the age of 15 he discovered the artists Jay-Z, Frank Ocean, Kanye West which cultivated a greater interest in music.
In 2019 Nic was a contestant on the first season of the show "The Cut", produced by Red Bull Songs. He won the competition and was rewarded with a publishing deal. Later that year Red Bull invited him to a writing camp in Los Angeles for one week, where the viral song “Big Ups” was produced featuring Nic Da Kid. With a very promising career ahead, Da Kid aims to become a household name inspiring the next generation of artists to come.
