Nic Evennett

Independent musician and photographer from Kent, UK. As a non-gigging/touring musician with Fibromyalgia and CFS, Nic hopes to encourage others with mental and physical disabilities, finding the whole music business overwhelming and difficult to approach, have a voice and be heard.

Known to genre-swerve, Nic tries to blend all her loves, whether folk, classical, choral music, ambient, or trip-hop, and explores many musical paths. Nic's EP 'For The Money' was released in 2019, featuring the wonderful beat work of FL Souto. She released the album 'Waiting for the Leaves' in early Autumn 2020, and was delighted to have a teeny bit of her music used by BBC 2's Mortimer and Whitehouse: Gone Fishing. A return to folkier roots, it explores our relationship with nature and the messages it gives us if we are listening.

Nic contributed to an album created by The Specialized Project in 2022 with her cover of 'Strangers in the Night', with the single released in February 2023. She did the same in 2024, with her rendition of Take On Me, with Jules Bangs on bass. She is an artist with No Sheet Music and is also one half of duo Cellar Door with fellow musician Phil Dupuis.
