Nicalai

Musician Nicalai(Nicolae Oncescu) was born on September 23rd, 1982, in Bucharest, Romania.
When he was seven, he took his first piano lessons and he really enjoyed playing. Seven years later, he started to compose music. During this time, Nicalai was falling in love with hip-hop music and starts dj-ing.
Between 2002 and 2008 he joined the band B.U.G. Mafia with the stage name Dj Swamp.
In 2009 he opens his own music studio, Galaxiu Studio, and he produces his first LP, A.E.R(This is Romania), released on his birthday. In August 2010, Nicalai released "Supermegaimportant" EP+ several bonus tracks. 2011 was a year of evolution in terms of musical style. The first major release was the song "Me & You", product of the duo's "Storm Love" formed by Nicalaiu and Gabriel Slick.. Also thanks to the success of the "Storm Love" project, he started working with the online label "Purple Sun Records", sub-label to Crossworld Records. In the spring of 2011, the artist lays the foundation of the new project / duo "Les Garcons Timides" with Alexander Angyus. By the end of the year 2011, Nicalai released one by one,several EPs on his own label 4P4 Records published by Crossworld Records, which helps the artist gain increasingly more awareness among electronic music fans worldwide.
