Nicholas Lemme (ˈnik(ə)ləs ˈlemē) —b. 1978—is a composer, singer, professor, and choir director based in the shire of Lincoln, NE.
Nicholas’ earlier compositions were primarily for the concert stage and theater, as well as works for the critically acclaimed genre-bending instrumental chamber ensemble The Spaghetti Western String Co., which he co-founded, toured, performed, and recorded with during his time in Minneapolis, MN. Within the last decade he has focussed his compositional pen towards choral music and the study of Gregorian chant. He has been commissioned by, written for, and collaborated with a number of choirs and music institutions throughout the USA.
Nicholas’ roots are in western South Dakota where the buffalo roam. He lives with his wife and children amid the cornfields and gravel roads of NE.
