Whether it be through his work as an improvising trumpeter or in his sample and field-recording based experimental electronics, Nick's work focuses on the magical properties of texture and timbre to produce music imbued with mood and meaning. In 2019 released his first experimental electronic offering in the EP 'In Bloom, In Blend', a collection of vignettes showcasing the sounds around us. In July 2023, Nick will be releasing a follow up offering- 'In Flight and In Flow', which will showcase the maturing and development of his unique sound-world over the COVID-19 pandemic period Nick also leads ambient-jazz project <a href="spotify:artist:1OX3qPBJpDPWkSti6zQRkA" data-name="SOFT SPOT">SOFT SPOT</a>, and co-leads improviser/composer collective <a href="spotify:artist:531SKutiryIKD8H3DXQgWr" data-name="Microfiche">Microfiche</a>, as well as post-jazz, electro-acoustic quartet <a href="spotify:artist:4B3OspmfApFost8ixKcpWJ" data-name="We will Intersect">We will Intersect</a> with Adrian Lim-Klumpes (Triosk/Tangents).
