Nick Ferretti

Nick Ferretti was born in the sunny seaside town of Nelson, New Zealand. Immersed in music from a young age thanks to his parents, he grew up listening to iconic artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mink DeVille, John Hiatt, Bruce Springsteen, and Bob Dylan. At age 10, his father bought him his first nylon-string guitar, a moment that marked the beginning of his musical journey. From then on, Nick knew that his passion for music was his true calling. As his skills improved, he began writing his own songs and performing at open mic and jam nights, where his soulful vocals and blues-infused guitar licks quickly gained attention.

After extensive touring across New Zealand, Nick decided to explore Europe. His travels took him through the UK, France, and Spain, ultimately leading him to the Balearic island of Mallorca. In 2018, he was discovered by German pop titan Dieter Bohlen and invited to participate in the singing competition Deutschland sucht den Superstar. Nick’s heartfelt performances resonated deeply with audiences in Germany, culminating in a remarkable second-place finish in the finals and establishing him as one of the standout performers in the show's history. In 2020, Nick's talent continued to shine as he went on to win the German singing competition Das Supertalent, delivering an unforgettable performance in the finals.

Currently, Nick lives in the UK, performing live all across Europe and is planning to release new music in 2024.
