Nick Noel

Nicklaus Nowell, known professionally as “Nick Noel,” is a Dallas based indie-rock singer and songwriter who got his start in 2012 writing and performing original songs in his hometown of Fresno, California.

After graduating from Cal State Fresno in April 2016, Noel left the music-friendly shores of Southern California to take a job in Dallas, TX, a city with a relatively nonexistent music scene. Undeterred, Noel stayed true to his dream as musician and saw the change as an opportunity rather than a obstacle.

“Leaving friends and family is never easy. I was offered a job I simply couldn't turn down being fresh out of college. At the time it felt like a necessary decision to advance in my career. Understandably, ...Dallas is not the biggest market for upcoming musicians, but I try to look at that as a positive and a chance to create a demand out here. I am a firm believer in things happening for a reason. With that being said, it seems the pieces may be falling into place..”

For the next two years, Noel continued honing his skills, writing, producing and recording original tracks from his Dallas apartment. Then, in June of 2018, his dreams began taking form as he recorded his first single “Younger.”
“The most satisfying moment so far is seeing a genuinely positive reaction from those who have heard my songs. If even one persons life can be affected for the better through my music, it will have all been worth it. Every second.”
