Every so often, a genuine and authentic voice cuts through the noise and connects. Nick Smith is one of those voices. A country boy at heart, Nick grew up in the rural community of Enville, Tennessee, where hard work, baseball, and small-town roots shaped who he is today. His love for the game took him to Troy University, but it was music that ultimately stole his heart.
By 2009, he was ready for the big leap moving to Nashville to chase his lifelong dream of a career in country music.
Nick soon found himself writing with some of Nashville’s most respected songwriters, including Ash Bowers, Neal Coty, Galen Griffin, Drew Smith, Jeff Bates, Michael Huffman, and the legendary Joe Diffie. His talent also landed him an invitation to open for Little Big Town at the Grand Ole Opry—a career milestone that fueled his fire even more.
In recent years, Nick has released three singles to country radio: She Ain’t LA, Honkytonk On, and Lead Me On. These tracks showcase his signature sound—modern country storytelling rooted in tradition. He’s also worked alongside industry legend Ed Seay of Curb Records, who has been instrumental in helping Nick refine his originality in Nashville’s renowned Sound Emporium, while collaborating with some of the city’s top musicians.
Authentic, passionate, and driven—Nick Smith isn’t just another name in country music. He’s a voice you won’t forget.
