Nick Vayenas

Trombonist Nick Vayenas has been a mainstay on the music scene for the past 20 years. A quintessential sideman as well as a leader, Nick has appeared on many albums, and has worked with prominent artists from both the jazz and pop genres (David Foster, Lady Antebellum, Mariah Carey, Lionel Loueke, Patrick Cornelius, Dayna Stephens, Kendrick Scott). He is one of the more versatile musicians, also doubling on trumpet and valve trombone, and is an accomplished composer and part time recording engineer. Since 2003, Nick has been a member of the horn section for Grammy® Award-winning recording artist Michael Bublé. He is also a sought after teacher and clinician and has given workshops around the world on behalf of Conn/Selmer musical instruments. Nick earned scholarships to attend Berklee College of Music, the Manhattan School of Music and the Thelonious Monk Institute. He has released seven albums as a leader, including his latest album 'The Path’ (2023).
