Hackney-born rapper Nicki Knightz blends sharp lyricism, vivid storytelling, and effortless charisma across introspective rap and groove-driven records. Raised in East London, her music often draws from the people, relationships, and realities that shaped her upbringing.

She first emerged in 2018 with her debut EP Hate, celebrating its release with a headline show at The Old Blue Last in Shoreditch. The project, produced by long-term collaborator <a href="spotify:artist:3HtL79s8aDIKAnNUd8tzz3" data-name="Henny Knightz">Henny Knightz</a> , included the track “Mindwalk”, which caught the attention of artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:4E2rKHVDssGJm2SCDOMMJB" data-name="Doechii">Doechii</a> , who described the song as “art”, while <a href="spotify:artist:0ukgrNYk51TkMQr0f2Br4Q" data-name="Maverick Sabre">Maverick Sabre</a> also publicly showed support for her music.

Nicki continued working with Henny Knightz on later projects including For The Uninformed and Lonely Girls Hearts Club. For The Uninformed gained BBC support, with DJ <a href="spotify:artist:3l1C23aRp4lfkBK3lLAp2m" data-name="Toddla T">Toddla T</a> naming the track “India Arie” his Coldest Record of the Week on BBC Radio 1, calling it “special” before replaying it across the station. BBC 1Xtra’s <a href="spotify:artist:7phxLHaKymoKWRg61jrBt8" data-name="Jamz Supernova">Jamz Supernova</a> also championed the project, adding “Blacker The Berry” to her SelectorUK playlist.

Nicki has since entered a new creative chapter, working with new producers on recent releases including “The Last One”, “Cold Nights in East”, “Mean”, and “Tell Me”. Together, the tracks showcase both her reflective storytelling and her more playful, confident side. With over 100,000 streams across her catalogue, Nicki Knightz is establishing herself as a distinctive voice in UK rap.
