Nicklas Sonne

Nicklas Sonne, best known as the front man, lead singer, song writer and producer for the progressive metal band Defecto, who through their career have supported bands like Metallica & Rammstein, and been on several european tours, has now released his much-anticipated debut solo album “Resonance” and is currently working on material for a 2nd album. Not shy to share his talents, he's also been known to perform with groups such as Malrun, Theory, Hank Sherman (Mercyful Fate) to name a few.

Following up on the 2022 release, Nicklas has been working on and released singles.
In 2023 his single 'Freedom' was performed on Danish national television in the danish Eurovision song contest show, with 1.000.000 viewers and 10.000 audience. Nicklas won the votes of the people of denmark with 15%, but the jury voted song #2, so it won instead of Nicklas.

Nicklas Sonne is one of the biggest musical talents to come out of Denmark in recent years, and already has a very solid following in Scandinavia and Europe. The project he dreamt of doing for several years, is finally ready and more will come soon.
