Nicky G hails from a city in southern Michigan known as Coldwater.
After leaving Michigan, and while attending college at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Nicky released a 5-song EP on Soundcloud in 2016, titled, "The Leaufroid EP," which garnered a legitimate amount of local attention.
Upon returning to Coldwater and, amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, Nicky G's debut single, "Hero," hit major streaming platforms in 2020, with the official music video amassing over 40,000 views in its first week.
