NICKY $lIME

Get your clique, get the homies (homegirls for the ladies reading), and make sure everything is up and active when turning on Nicky $lime! Born in New Haven, CT, music became an early influence before ever touching a key. Growing up with his parents, Nicky would occasionally cruise with his father listening to radio stations and music of various genres, which later lead to him to new artists and music of all kinds (via YouTube). Before Phonk, Nicky started taking a practice at making beats of general genres like hip-hop, trap, etc, around 2016. Thanks to the influence of some friends & fans of the genre, $lime later on learned of the aesthetic genre and started experimenting 3 years later. Thanks to his consistency & practice, Nicky has earned himself a home in the Phonk community, collaborations w/ B L E S S Y X U, Freddy Konfeddy, STUPIDBEATS, and a spot in the collective of Sinner Circle. Now living in Brussels, Belgium, with 4 project releases (FORECAST, MAD SESH, $LIMILLIONAIRE, & HIGH CRIMES), and various SoundCloud releases, Nicky doesn’t plan on putting the breaks on expanding his sounds & genres anytime soon.
