Relative of legendary Fats Domino, NSJ mastered her musical skills in the Pentecostal church (Church Of God In Christ). Gospel music follows her almost daily and secular music has no place in the religious culture perpetrated by this southern United States family. After graduating she released her first self-produced album, reinterpreting the greatest standards of soul and gospel.
