Nigel Sparks is an artist whose journey is as raw and real as the music he creates. Years of building a movement through his business often meant putting music on hold, especially during challenging times when he had to make the tough decision to close 3 of his stores.

In 2018, he was invited to join 16 Baris Season 2, a platform showcasing top regional rappers. This moment cemented his presence as an artist to watch, even as his focus remained divided between music and business.

Nigel’s music reflects his personal struggles and triumphs.

“DLLM” (2018) was a rebellious track, born out of frustration and a desire to push back against the odds.

“Chains” (2019) explored the freedom to choose your own struggles, written during a time when he was contemplating closing his stores.

In 2020, “Dirt on My Name” responded to criticism from those who thought he had “fallen off” after closing his stores.

“After All” (2022) reflected on the chaos of the world and his realization that even after the rise and fall, things weren’t as different as they seemed.

By 2024, with his business standing strong and producer Ezzad joining him full-time, Nigel embraced music fully. This year, he released “Jangan Cakap Abang Tak Payung,” a track inspired by a phenomenon he started, a movement that captured the nation. He also released “Single” and “Pretty Ugly,” further solidifying his return to music.
