Driven by a passion for the best in bass music, circling around UK Garage, Bassline, Grime, House and everything good in-between, Night Bass boss AC Slater made it his mission to expose North America to these strongly under-represented genres. In doing so, he established club and record label Night Bass, a wildly successful, internationally renowned institution for ground-breaking dance music that spearheaded an underground movement across the country. Night Bass continues to expand and evolve every year by pushing forward-thinking music, introducing new talent to the global stage, and celebrating certified legends.
January 2023 marked nine years of the Night Bass sound. Since its inception in 2014, the label went on to produce its first ever festival, Night Bass City, in Chicago - which sold out 4,000 tickets, and take over stages at massive festivals - from EDC Las Vegas, to HARD Summer, to Get Freaky, to Electric Zoo, to Boomtown Fair in the UK, and more. AC Slater has created a family within Night Bass, and the aptly named Night Baes fans are in it for the long haul.
