Night Shade Odyssey is a drum and bass artist formerly based in San Diego. NSO was originally founded as a duo by Producers Jay Schlekewey (aka DeltaDestruct) and Jameson Hauer Yount (aka HyTek) in 2016. Their early productions would garner recognition in the San Diego underground scene until, in 2018, they would sign their first single “The Devil” with Scapegot Records. The single would help open their relationships with Organized Grime (San Diego), and CONTROL (Los Angeles) where they would hold simultaneous residencies. Over the next five years, NSO would continue to release under Scapegot Records, as well as featuring on Hit Biscuit Records, ONE7AUDIO, and WASTELVND. Their respective residencies would allow them the privilege to share the stage with artists including Chase & Status, Terravita, Black Sun Empire, Sub Killaz, Bandlez, and more. In 2019, the duo would go on hiatus amid the COVID Pandemic. Three years later, the newly South Dakota-based NSO would be carried on by Schlekewey as a solo project, and with a new community, new music, and new vision, Night Shade Odyssey is showing no signs of slowing down
