Nihan Belgin

She was born in Istanbul as the child of artist parents. Her interest in films and music began at a very early age. She has taken part in many feature films as a director, scriptwriter, producer, and actress in the cinema industry, which she stepped into in 2005 as an assistant director. Some of those films are “Blue Eyed Giant - Nazim Hikmet” and “The Miracle”. “Brush Stroke” and “Destroy Yourself Only in Yourself” are the award-winning films she directed. Her debut single “Zeus Çok Kızgın”, arranged by Cihangir Aslan, was released in November 2021. Her second single “Jüpiter Fırtınası”, produced by Yiğit Keven”, was released for the listeners in May 2022. As “The Eastern Adventure of the Dark Box”, the documentary film she wrote and directed, was screened at festivals, she shared her third single “Gece Oldu”, produced again by Yiğit Keven”, with the listeners in February 2023. In 2024, the artist continuing her journey and released the songs “Kozmos" and “Ayık Olmak İstemem” produced by Anıl Ulusoy. She released the cover of the song “Çöpçüler” which is closely associated with Erkin Koray, in October 2024. All of her songs were released by BBI Music Co. label. The versatile artist still continues to create films and music in Istanbul.
