Nikayla Nelle

Nikayla Nelle is a R&B singer/song-writer born and raised in Toronto, Canada. She began performing at the tender age of eight years old, playing musical instruments such as the clarinet, and singing in and outside her church’s choir. This continued throughout both middle and high-school productions, as well as talent and open mic shows.

Nikayla Nelle is an old soul, and is is known for tapping into the old-school realm. Her sound highly embodies R&B/soul, but also embraces versatility from Pop, Hip-Hop, Gospel and Reggae sounds. Influenced by the artistry from each, she grew up singing and dancing to artists including Aaliyah, Brandy, Rihanna, Keshia Chanté, and Chris Brown. 

Nikayla Nelle began song-writing in 2019, as she grew fond of doing covers while putting her own creative touch on them. Through her song-writing journey, she developed the confidence to introduce herself to the world as an artist by releasing her first single, “Over You”, in January 2021. 

Nikayla Nelle is currently gearing up to releasing more singles and projects in the upcoming months, as her goal is to pursue, and globally inspire through her dream career in music.
