The new track “LIME” oozes mystery, urban afrobeat and an undeniable “feel-good” vibe that is sure to get any party started.
“Lime” is written and performed by the 21 year old danish/american singer/composer Nikita Thigpen, and marks the second single release by the young talented multi-artist.
Lime is an urban, afrobeat dance track that once again showcases the young artist’s strong sense of stylistic, soulful and musical output. Lime was recorded in Copenhagen, summer of 2021. About LIME, Nikita says: “ I wrote Lime as a testimony to the importance of self worth. I wanted to share the sense of liberation you experience when you trust your inner strength, and don't allow anyone to shift that core. If they try- it will sting like Lime. I have tried to show the strength I get from my own background by unfolding Lime into an urban and afrobeat track. Lime is my tribute to all women and to my roots.
