Oluchi Maria Obidi, known to her fans as Nikki Maria, was born on April 27, 2000, in the vibrant town of Ihiala in Anambra State, Nigeria. Growing up in a culturally rich environment, Oluchi developed a deep appreciation for music from a young age. Her love for singing blossomed early, as she found herself captivated by melodies and rhythms, dreaming of one day becoming a renowned singer.

Oluchi pursued her secondary education at Awada Secondary School in Obosi, Onitsha. During her time there, her passion for music only grew stronger, with school performances and local competitions providing her with platforms to showcase her budding talent.

In 2016, at the age of 16, Oluchi discovered her songwriting abilities, penning her first song. This marked the beginning of her journey into the world of music.
